Getting started with Captain HQ
Captain HQ is a season command center for tennis teams. Captains use it to plan matches, collect availability, build legal lineups, message players, and keep the season moving. Players use it to RSVP, check schedules, read captain messages, and follow live match updates.
Signing in
Captain HQ supports the sign-in options your captain or league setup allows:
- Magic link: enter your email address, then open the secure link we send you. Use the same email your captain used for the roster whenever possible.
- Microsoft: sign in with your Microsoft account if your team uses Microsoft identity.
- Google: sign in with your Google account if your team uses Google identity.
If you do not receive a magic link, check spam or junk folders, confirm the email spelling, and ask your captain which address is on the roster.
Captain view and player view
Captain HQ shows different tools based on your role.
- Captains can manage seasons, teams, rosters, availability, lineups, messages, and match-day coordination.
- Players can see their schedule, RSVP, update profile details, read messages, and use live scoring when assigned.
Some people are both a captain and a player. If that is you, use the view switcher or navigation in the app to move between captain work and player tasks.
First things to do
- Sign in with the email connected to your team.
- Check that your name and contact details look right.
- Review the upcoming schedule.
- RSVP for any open matches.
- Watch captain messages for lineup, travel, or weather updates.
