Frequently asked questions
I did not get my magic link. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder, then confirm you entered the same email address your captain has on the roster. If it still does not arrive, ask your captain to confirm the address or contact support.
Why can I see player tools but not captain tools?
Captain tools appear only for accounts with captain access. If you should be a captain, sign in with the email address connected to that role or ask the existing captain to invite or grant you access.
What does NTRP mean?
NTRP is the tennis rating system many USTA leagues use to group players by level. Captain HQ may use NTRP information to help captains check lineup eligibility and strength order.
Ratings can affect which players may play together, which court a player can occupy, and whether a lineup follows league rules.
What are court sides?
Court sides usually refer to which side a doubles player prefers for returns and rallies: deuce side or ad side. Some players are comfortable on either side, while others have a strong preference.
Captains can use this information when building doubles pairings, but it is only one factor. Availability, ratings, chemistry, and strategy also matter.
Can I change an RSVP after I submit it?
Usually yes, especially while the availability window is still open. If the match is close or the lineup has already been shared, update your RSVP and message your captain so they notice the change.
Who sees my RSVP notes?
Your captain and authorized team managers may see notes that help plan the match. Keep notes short and relevant to availability, timing, or lineup constraints.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email support@captainhq.ai from the email address on your Captain HQ account with the subject line Delete my account.
We will remove your account data within 30 days. Some records may be retained where legally required, such as security, billing, compliance, or dispute-resolution records. This matches the Captain HQ Privacy Policy.
How do I contact support?
Use in-app Help & Support → Create a request, or email support@captainhq.ai. A real person reviews support requests.
